PEEK (polyetheretherketon) is part of the group of polyaryletherketonex (PAEK) – high temperature resistant engineering plastics. Besides thermal resistance, PEEK offers high mechanical strength, high chemical resistance and welding capabilities. The parts, produced from this semi-crystalline material, are used in aviation and automotive products, which require low emission of smoke and toxic gases. PEEK is also used in the E&E and space industries, while its applications in the medical field and metal replacement offer additional opportunities.
